    Canon G1X

I brought a Canon G1X for the little lady to use. Strange that I have used it more often than my 7D recently. Now I am not saying the G1X is better. Just that it is just so easy to grab and use.

    A shot from the G1X.

SWMBO wants her own camera too as the 7D is too big for her. I'm waiting on the EOS M (assuming the price is not outrageous) as it'll take my lenses.

    Horizon isn't straight

G1x and G10-12 are all very good. I'll stick with my X100 though, much less fancy.

Its straight by the grid-lines in Lightroom.

Yes the G1X is a bit slow, I was suprised at how slow it was but I can live with that.

I think slow is a relative term. Everything I've used since getting the D3s seems slow. I used to think the D200 was reasonably quick but not any more. I suspect that if you didn't have the 7D then the G1x wouldn't appear to bad.

Oh and light room must be crooked...

Can you adapt a Conversion Lens adaptor on the G-1x. I have a G12 which I almost always use a CIR-PL on when ever I shoot outdoors with the Filter adaptor mounted.
