16g goes a bloody long way if shooting in JPG mode and is still very usable with RAW if you process daily
128gb is more than most ever need when traveling and doing regular cleanups

camera specs will specify the recommended sd card class. 4k video will gobble up storage, but even a 64gb card will hold plenty of minutes.
I always prefer to keep cards smaller, either 32 or 64 gb, and have a few as then if one fails, you won't lose as much. Video you might need 128 gb though. And transferring to computer is a bit easier.
The fastest cards are best for cameras too, extreme or extreme pro being fastest :)
My 1dx is the mk2 :) mine are all second hand 1dx was a bargain, it didn't work but I managed to fix it! My lenses are old as well, they are what I hope yo upgrade next.
Can definitely share some of my work in the camera corner. I cover horse events (less now as I'm sick of in accessible toilets. Should be wheelchair accessible loos everywhere in this day and age)
And a few commercial clients.
Then my own fun and creative things:)
Cannon offers the G series a descent advanced compact camera. It offers a very good image quality, acceptable zoom range and a light compact size.
On the downside the lens is not super fast, the camera is not weather proof and has a high price tag.
