Most of my sunrise shots don't actually have the sun in them as such. I reckon it the sun has risen then it's too late and I should be hunting down an early opening cafe for a big breakfast...
It's getting closer to sunrise photo time again. I think the best ones are in the colder months. Plus I can stay in bed longer. :cool:

I used the Nikon D300s, the Tokina 12-24 f/4 and the tripod with the ballhead.

Lots of fire breathing dragon sunsets among these posts. Thought I would soften things a bit with a sunset on the hills south of the Barrier Highway between Yunta and Oodla Wirra, SA, taken when I drove through there a couple of weeks back.
