I do the same... don't always use a white balance shot though, just eyeball it normally!

well yeah so do I like I said when I remember:D....i carry my 18% grey key card..in my bag I always remember to shoot it when I have changed scenes and its no longer relevant :lol2:

When I started using the D200 after using the Nikon F801s for many years I ignored the white balance settings and found out that I have a light blue cast in my images which I have to correct on PP.
Now I never live the WB in auto and adjust it to suit the conditions.

More and more now, I will shot in auto white balance, in RAW, and fix it in lightroom normally.

Normally don't have any problems doing it this way!

me either but then that's coming from my own personal view others might look at think **** that white balance is way out!! :lol2:
