I reckon the 422s were the best locos ever used in NSW ( certainly the best I ever worked ), built in 1969 and all bar one are still in use all over Oz.
BUT I would have loved to have seen and HEARD the two “B” classes in action.
A little trivia, you often see model locos painted up in different colour schemes of real locos but that red coloured “B” is actually painted up in the colour scheme of a model railway manufacturer.

I got bored on the flight (as you do after 8 hours) so I used 2 pillows and sat the camera facing out the exit door window. I used the pillows to seal up everything so no light from the inside of the cabin could get in. Exposed for 70 seconds and the result ended up quite good!! What is really interesting is how stable the plane actually is!
