Do you guys have military surplus options in Australia? While a bit on the spendy side (~US$80), these U.S. military surplus aluminum medical crates are light, completely waterproof and amazingly strong.

The two larger ones have a divider panel in them so when you unlatch them, the contents stay enclosed. You flip it on its backside and remove the divider to access your gear.

In Australia we pay about four times that price for plastic versions. I f you could get a container load of those to Oz I reckon they would sell like hot cakes.
