Shade Awning Solo Erection........

I'm assuming this is a standard, pull out from the side awning.

I have a 2.5m x 2m and it's certainly do-able in reasonable conditions, any wind and no chance. A 3m x 3m would probably be the same albeit with a bit more difficulty. Once you get the technique it's not too bad, but again any wind forget it by yourself.

Thanks Martyn, yep, stock standard 4wd awning you see on vehicles these days. The complaint by my mate was the difficulty of a 3m span holding the one end to insert the vertical pole without bending the horizontal poles by the leveraging effect of the corner of the other end of the awning.

There may be a proven sequence that overcomes this.
