I have 27 watt LED on the back of my vehicle, great for a lot of light but way too much for a campsite. A mate has mounted on the side of his roof rack, a small LED like the day time driving lights that a lot of cars are fitted nowadays. He finds it an excellent source of light for cooking and eating etc and it's very kind on the battery.
