Coleman Dual Fuel single burner stove

I've copied the original wanted thread to a new one here as there is a lot of good info contained herein. I've also edited the original wanted thread to remove all the no longer required replies.

Here's a cheap option,(Primus copy) that puts out the same power as the Coleman and this one runs on 'gasoline'. You might have to find out what the Ukrainians consider to be gasoline before plunging in to this experiment, but if it would work here it would be a good buy at $50.00

Second burner is a simmer type of thing as mentioned. I’ve not had an issue with pot space - can fit frypan and a small pot beside it no dramas - might be tight if you need pots big enough to feed a whole family but for a couple it’s fine.
Not sure what lines there are to burn out - mine has none - fuel runs from the tank through the generator and is turned off directly at the tank.
Not messy at all - when you turn it off it ‘runs on’ for 10 or 20 seconds which drains the generator and all fuel is left in the tank. Let the pressure out the tank and leave it to cool before packing up.

I’d never go back to gas now I’ve used the dual fuel stove.

Where abouts do you live? Happy to demo mine if your around the Melbourne area.

A mate of mines the same.
I have 2x of the single burner stoves, always ran them on shelite and have never had an issue adjusting the flame from summer to melt your face mode

Thanks ...I’ve just ordered one in time for Xmas camp. Time for a change from my antiquated gas bottle! ...Will report back on the dual fuel in comparison.

Collected one from Tentworld (Ferntree Gully) for $93.00.

Forgot that they came with a funnel with built in strainer. Have never used one of these, always managed to pour from the Shellite bottle straight into the tank (you have to hold the single burner stove over at an angle while you do this).
I think I have a couple (unused) somewhere from previous dual fuel stoves.
