    Primus Vacuum sealer

I have had my Primus vacuum sealer now for 5-6 years and although it still works OK I have to give it a rest for a while after sealing 5-6 bags because at that stage it starts to play up a bit, The bag cutter is also a bit blunt as well.
I have had a fantastic run out of this sealer and have used it extensively at home as I always get my meat in bulk I also take it away with me camping and fishing where the 12v option comes in very handy especially on the boat.

I am not sure what is going on but I am buggered if I could find a replacement Primus unit and settled for a "chef" brand sealer that is identical to my old Primus unit except for an extra couple of buttons on it.
The excellent build quality and the 12v option is the same as the old Primus unit so I hope to get the same amount of service out of this sealer, Time will tell.
This is the Chef unit I bought.

I remembered that Prius make Chef portable stoves, so I checked and found the Chef vacuum sealer is also made by Primus.
Being both 240 and 12 volt is great. Looks like a good bit of kit.
