Umm,mine isn't,and i know quite a few that have Engles, never seen a 90 degree plug for the Engle fridge.
Not saying they are not around, they are available on Ebay.
Other fridge brands may have them as well.

Sorry if not. Mine is about 10 years old. All the plugs to the fridge are neatly placed unlike the power socket in the back of my D3 which is almost a inch lower than the height of my fridge. I had a Anderson plug on my former D3 put where the UK tow light plug had been. Never felt the need to hang on to that plug [thumbsupbig]
Our 60ltr Engel is now about 20 years old and has right angle plug for 240v but the 12v is a straight type. But the way I have it set up on the fridge slide that isn't a problem as there's just enough room for the cable to bend nicely with out breaking it inside. Plus it's not vulnerable to being hit by anything as it's protected by the wall of my homemade shelves when it's in the travelling position.
Actually we've had it in 6 vehicles now and it's never been a problem as it doesn't protrude that far out...maybe 50mm at the most. Possibly a bit of redesign of the OPs cargo area would fix it. Or possibly a cover which can be removed to protect it if there's no right angle fitting leads available.

I can see how the post was a little unclear. The issue for me is the cigarette plug comes straight out of the Thumper so is exposed to damage by something dropping on it during transit or the door closing onto the lead. The second scenario means I need to load the Thumper about 120-150mm back from the door. Its a small amount of space but sometimes the door and loaded items clash by only 20mm or so.
To clarify - I'd like a fridge lead with a 90deg plug at each end (fridge lead is already 90deg at the fridge connection) or an adapter which comes out of the at Thumper at 90deg I can then plug the cigarette lead into
Have you considered changing to Anderson plugs to eliminate the problems?
So the angle adapter for the Engle is available, see links in above posts.
Cigarette lighter angle male plug also available off E bay, numerous types, but they look bulky.Google search is your friend.
Others say Anderson plug, but depending on wiring etc on Thumper, may or may not fit.Anderson plugs will take a huge amount of current,so probably overkill for a fridge.
If thumper has a round hole, maybe a female merit plug may fit, then get an angled merit male plug

I wouldn't trust a cigarette lighter plug at all, they have a habit of either burning or falling out,as others have said[bigsad]
After changing all our 12V gear, including hand held spotlights that use a heap of power to Merit plugs, over 20yrs ago, never had an issue.
But use good quality one's such as Narva only.
Most, if not all have a plastic adapter, to make them compatible.
I bought a Jaycar Meit plug, I'd advise spending the extra six bucks on a better quality connector .
I’ve hard wired all my fridges, if you need to remove the fridge pull the plug at the fridge end.....and have a second lead.
