No,you need a genuine Narva Merit female plug.

But it COULD suite same size hole the female cig lighter is fitted into.

In my D4 i have a Merit and cig lighter female sockets in the rear,powered from under bonnet second battery,out of the way,so can't be damaged,when male plug is fitted.

The cig lighter is hardly ever used except for maybe a phone charger.

Does your Thumper have an Anderson plug? I ask because the pics in the link below appear to show an Anderson plug.
If it does, I would definitely favour an Anderson plug.
