Car Fridge - Any repair / service recommendations in PERTH ?

My car fridge, which is less than 5 years old and has not been worked hard, has stopped working.
The refrigeration specialist recommended by the retailer says it is losing refrigerant internally, and cannot be repaired.

The fridge has a Danfoss BD35 compressor.

Can anyone suggest / recommend a PERTH refrigeration specialist that would be worth taking the fridge to for a second opinion (or better still, an actual repair)?
Preferably someone that you have used before, with a good result.
Name and contact phone number would be appreciated.

The name of the refrigeration people that I took my fridge to begins with "Ei" and ends in "is", with only one letter in between.

    Thanks,
    Andrew Milne

When my Waeco car fridge died a few years back I took it to absolute caravan repair in BALCATTA who were/are a waeco/domestic service agent. Replaced a faulty circuit board and the fridge is still working. I think Waeco use a similar compressor.

    cheers

If he is still around, Bentech in the Bateman area would be my first choice

The great thing about Danfross compressors is that there are Waeco repairers absolutely everywhere. We drowned one in a river at cape york. So it turned out, the repairer was literally almost in the same caravan park that we were staying in at Weipa.

    Definitely get a second opinion
From memory the refrigerant Ports on a BD35 are sealed so it is not easy to check pressures
If it is indeed compressor / refrigerant circuit it is my understanding that they are not an easy repair. But the boards and control circuits are easy fixes and the usual culprit.

Danfoss compressors are widely used in marine applications so if you draw a blank from above suggestions track down a good marine workshop / engineer chances are they will have a suitable fridgey

    Failed Car Fridge

Thanks to everyone who responded with suggestions / comments.

I came to a satisfactory arrangement with the Dealer to return the failed fridge and obtain a replacement at what I thought was a reasonable price.

    Cheers,
