    Victron super cycle AGM batteries

Has anyone got, or heard anything about these battery’s? Sound pretty good going off the specs... A bit lighter and smaller than other AGM. And can be discharged 100 percent over 300 times according to the specs. The price seems reasonable. Thoughts?

Victron is a quality brand- I have 3 of their controllers.
I have given this brand - although a Lithium -a thorough testing - but not a 100 amp- and its also top quality IMHO..
Just saying there are alternatives & one ( or two) of these is near the top of my "must haves"

12V 100Ah LFP battery (No Buletooth)

Hmm, i'll get the nerds at work to look into these for me. Have installed the Victron agm's in small offgrid jobs before with no dramas, although the nerds prefer to use lifepo4's.

Sounds like marketing and another lead crystal attempt, lol.

most good agm are rated for 1000-1200 lab cycles to 50%, probably 100-200 at near 100%dod, add in some absolutely perfect lab conds, tweaks to the agm, and knowing 99.99% wont ever test this claim and you get 300cycles.

sorry to say but cycle life is not important in an agm, resistance to sulfating is. taking an agm down that low is not really useful given the low working voltage.
