I'll just add that it is the best thing that we ever bought as an accessory for the landrover and we have even used it when weve had a few too many when at a freinds place for dinner, it's great.
Wouldn't do it much good in the long run, would it

We borrowed an EeziAwn last year, for the Simpson. I was a bit concerned that the ladder settled into the sand overnight, and overtensioned the tent. No problems, but sooner or later there'll be issues I would have thought.

We went with a Mr Swagman partly for this reason. If ever there was a ladder issue, we could still clamber up the window sills & use it.

    from memory 800 + 100 postage...

was quite helpful even though tnt lost the bloody tent for a week (they did deliver the ladder the next day though)... so tell me how you can deliver a small box for a ladder... and lose a 1100x1200x500mm box

You guys got me to thinking.... Now I'm watching about 15 roof top tents on ebay to see what price range they go for.

I found one for $699 Buy it Now in Melb. It may be worth considering if the prices of the other ones get too high. I think their interstate freight may be a bit more though.
