I have the same style table but mine has a different base than the traditional style. Mine has a cross braced frame that is the same as many of the camp chairs. I bought mine from Supercheap Auto.
The benefit of this base is the more weight or load you put on it the more stable it will be! The build quality isnt that great, but it works well and folds up well.
As for stoves we use a coleman stove attachment and the standard disposal gas cannisters. These if they have a good butane/propane mix generate a lot of heat and work well. We use a Hillbilly stove shroud which funnels the heat onto the pot rather than dissapating into the atmosphere. Also very handy on windy days when you need a coffee!
