    rack of lamb

gotta try something new each time a group of us do xmas in july (well august this year), the other guys are doing beef and chicken

rack of lamb should be straight forward, chasing tips to make it a great one

i'm guessing some herbs and oil rubbed into the outside, maybe some mint

is it worth stuffing a rack of lamb, if so what with

i am going to have my first go at doing a patato bake

anyway we are heading out to our normal camping spot this weekend.....a heat wave is on its way i hear

I suppose you are going to cook it in the camp oven???

cut slits in it all over and stuff the holes with garlic and rosemary rub in oil and slow bake...yum............Potato bake.......add a little chicken stock powder to the cream....yum...................................... ................................................

    I am getting hungry now
I think I need to make a potato bake for tea.

    1 Tbsp crushed coriander seed
    1 Tbsp crushed cumin seed
    1 Tbsp Crushed black pepper
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp tumeric

1tsp - 1 Tbsp Crushed salt. (depending on taste)

Mix with 2 Tbsp olive oil, (and 4 Tbsp Yoghurt if available)

Rub over the lamb and leave for at least 1 hr.

Then slowly roast in the camp oven.

    Or alternatively

Stab the leg of lamb with a knife and insert sliced garlic & rosemary into the holes,

Rub a little oil over the leg, light sprinkle of salt, and /or cover with mustard.

    Slow roast again.

    Dammit, now I'm hungry.

EDIT- Double dammit, you beat me to it Mrs Ho Har!
