Well we have bought one of ebay, should get in some time next week hopefully. :)

While we are deciding on whether to risk another Ebay roof top tent purchase, we're going to take a look at some touring tents as an option (Oztent, Oz Trail Touring tents etc).
Sorry Crump, I didn't get any pics of the mounting system, but you do get a bit of a look at it on their Ebay ad - the mounting beam can be attached to the tent base in either direction, depending on how it needs to sit on your roof rack.
No, mine was one of these.
I'd imagine they will put the one I sent back up for sale at some stage.
