Repco has now pulled this ad and Engel had a note infront on their front page about the Repco's ad being false.

I did have a look at the fridge and now checking out ebay and have found these guys which seem to be distributing the same fridge under a different brand.

Does anybody have an Engel Eclipse? I like the size and shape, the features and price seem good, etc, but was wondering how well it holds up against the proper 40lt Engel fridge? Any opinions are welcome! :D

I know this is an old thread but I was looking for info on fridges and found this:

It looks like the fridge that has been discussed in the thread, which seemed to get the thumbs up (in 2009).
Has anyone got any experience of these fridges?

If you want a good fridge with a great warranty have a look at the techni ice fridges, pretty much Waeco copies with danfoss compressors but with a better warranty.
