    Campoven Indashed

Well was supposed to go camping on Stockton beach for tonite, Argghhhh Wifey gets called into work, had all the gear/food ready not happy until I had the 3rd beer and did this, This is inside my shed
Not as good as 2 weeks ago up the farm but hey it works.

So now wifey will be coming home a nice camp oven dinner, roast pork, roast veg and damper.

Does anyone else use an old 9kg bottle for their camper/brazier/BBQ, I like using this thing its great, The Tardis wont fit on it but the small one will.

Nah, i just do the roasts in the camp oven, in the fire place, inside the house. Works just as good as an outside fire, and i can do it, when the fire bans are on. Although i,ve seen them before, the recycled gas bottle is a good idea, because its a controled fire.

Its a pipe inside a bit of square welded so I can rotate a grill for the kettle or jaffle iron, it all packs up and goes inside the gas bottle so its only the size of a 9kg and I mount it on the twin bottle mounts of the camper trailer when travelling, there is a bbq plate that rotates on their as well that can feed 2 or 3 and it double as my jack stand.
In the process of making a second one a bit more refined so I can get both campovens going at the same time.

I use an old 9kg bottle, but not up that way.

Made myself one of these Home | Ozpig

Great bit of gear - nice and cool above the chimney so can even use it under the laserlite on the pergola, or under a tarp if it gets wet when you are camping.

We do all of our roasts at home with it using the camp oven. Keeps the smell/heat out of the house, and a good excuse to have a few brews while watching dinner cook.

Hi Guys, I'm new on this site.. Looks a good idea. I have a 90kg gas bottle about to be cut updown for multi use stuff. May I suggest welding a 50mm pipe vertically somewhere underneath then it may suit to mount it in the jockey wheel holder while travelling which keeps the black yucky stuff out of the car or van

Love it Dazza! You should patent it and go into production!
