    LED Spotlight

Has anyone used or seen in action one of these LED powered spollights? They are good for 500 lumens... does anyone know if that is equivalent to a normal 12v spotlight?

    Coleman LED Spotlight

The local camping shop has them on at a bit under $100. Not cheap, but for the right person could be very useful.

Big difernace between LED lights. With several LED head lights I have some are great while some are for kids toilet trips only. The diferance is amazing. Lens, power consumption and light output vary from great to poor. Light Force make better ones than coleman, HID might be better than LED excluding power draw. My HID spot is great but a mates LED would last a week were mine is dead in 30 minutes on a small walk around battery.

    On the subject, THIS:

10W LED WORK LIGHT SPOT BEAM 800 Lumen IP68 4X4 CAMPING FISHING 12 MONTH WTY* | eBay

is a mean little spot light. I bought one for my MTB, it's good for up to 50km/h down the road. Has an input voltage range of 9-50V so will run off an e-bike lithium battery...

Oh and there's its big brother...
