    24 spline hte axles and a detroit

    morning all
    when converting a 86 rrc to 24 spline hte axles and a detroit diff center ,what carrier side bearings are used ?

    I'm not sure but the standard ones I think.
    A diff guy did my detroit

    Having just done this to an 88 the info I got was LM102949/910 - standard I believe will fit

    AFAIR from 17 years ago the carrier bearings have a larger inside diameter than standard, which enables larger axles to be fitted. This was in a "Stage1" Soflocker so this may have changed since then.

    I had Jacmac axles put in mine after having the carriers broached to size by Jacmac.
