Beautiful car Dave
Hi Guys, heres some shots of my '78 Rangie, pretty much stock, 4 speed with fairey o/d. Picked it up as a cheap capable truck. it was in great knick when i got it or at least after i fixed up a few things that had gone wrong after it sat for a few years but since then its accumulated a bit of unfortunate panel damage.
I started it off on some 29" AT's on D1 alloys that looked really nice but ive since put it on the original rangie steelies painted black with 31" bighorns.
It desperately needs new suspension which will happen as soon as a poor students schedule and bank balance allow but it goes so well off road i dont feel i need any more mods for the time being.

I'm loving these original 2 doors. Don't you guys feel a bit bad when you punish them offroad?
Mine I don't feel so bad when I'm up to my knees in water because im stuck in a swamp somewhere as it's such a bitsa.. but the original ones I'd be so.... anal!
No doubt you can keep them in decent nic, just that more tends to break when used decently offroad. And panel damage as well.. I hate panel damage.
Just look what you can do to the original ones though
(before and after)
Here's my original 78 2 door,
