    Unhappy Suspension Dropped

I was hoping you might be able to help point me in the right direction for my diagnosis.

My driver's side front suspension is now sitting about a centimetre lower than the near side one. This happened I noticed after doing some light offroading last weekend. The actual suspension seems to have the same resistance but but have noticed a small amount of body roll when turning left.

Anybody else had this issue? Any ideas what might be best to look out for first to fix?

    Many Thanks
    Chris

    1CM?
Even the Rover manual gives about 3CM droop as the limit for replacement.
    How could you notice 1CM?
Seriously though maybe one spring was not sitting perfectly in its seat.

Is it worth removing the springs and comparing their lengths?
    I wouldn't.

I only noticed because when I turn the wheel left the offside front now rubs against the wheel arch now. I can feel a bit of roll so the steering doesn't feel as tight as before (not that it was particularly tight In the first place) so there's definitely something going in there. I thought it could be the join between the body and chassis, isn't there a rubber stop in there somehwere? If that perished could that be the cause?
    Thanks

Maybe you've popped a radius arm to chassis bush out?

Jeez!! I have never seen that. Maybe look at your chassis mounts as the body may have dropped. Rusted outrigger?
If the panhard bushes were gone the body would move the other way.

    Jeez!!
Sounds as tho it needs to be lifted on a hoist and have a serious look at .... Given the age of the ride, if it's all original, then I would be looking at everything,

Time to start replacing 25 year old parts?
