Sounds like its stuffed , pull all the plugs and do a wet and dry comp check first .
You sure its petrol and not water that was mixed with the oil , its pretty hard to put raw fuel in the sump !!!
hi all, i decided to look further into the rangies probs today seeing as the arm isnt feeling to bad . thinking that i had hydroliced the motor a mate suggested i drain any oil left in the sump run some cheapo oil thru it and see what happens. well slide under the car this arvo place oil catcher in the right place undo the sump plug and whooosh out comes about 4 litres of petrol and oil. the S##T went everywhere managed to catch most of it until i noticed the container had a big crack in it , i filled 3 2 litre milk bottles
.mmmm i thought our merchanic checked that
, obviously not , anyway maybe look at some injectors soon. tony

Yeah, even a drooling injector would only drop a bees dick until the pressure in the system dropped, and the pump doesn't go for more than 3 secs with ign on.

As a temporary measure disconnect the fuel pump by removing the fuel pump relay (under the drivers seat). Then remove the injectors and find some suitable replacements. Both early (hose top) and late (clip in) RRC injectors can be found on other common vehicles. Running on gas can dry out injectors and yours sound stuffed.

check the fuel pressure regulater hasnt split internally.it will dump fuel through the vacumn pipe into the inlet manifold.
I have only used second hand injectors to date. BTW I believe they are ALL made by Bosch. The early hose top ones were fitted to SD1's and I got a full set for my bro off a petrol-only car for a few bucks. They were also used on VL Commodores I believe. The later ones are more-or-less the same as Falcons Magnas and Commodores. I once used 8 removed from a EF falcon or two. Pick-a-part wreckers are your friend.![]()
