Hi Ron....thank you, but I will leave "borrow" until the very last....I can't guarantee how it will come back so I'd rather have one that I own before I destory it.

Mate, you're lucky you didn't get a visit...what a piece of crap! Nah, it's going ok. I copped the amigos, brake modulator, $800, but ya get that....wouldn't be a Landy if it were trouble free.

It's about to get 4 inches Centipedes and a front locker.

It seriously has lack of power issues....can't put my finger on it....almost like the turbo doesn't work.

Bugger Get onto the power problem, you don't want that going on for too long. The fuel pump was never replaced but it got a new turbo when the head was done. Sounds like limp mode. Hope it's sorted soon...

Nah, the majority of the time it goes just fine. Hot days.....a good 5-10 seconds for the turbs to cut in....

I'm gonna put some gaf tape on it, a cable tie, and hit with a hammer....see if that fixes it....failing that, as a mechanic, I don't know what else to do

I'm happy with it though....can't wait for the centipedes

Only a blown diff in the Rangie, that's definitely better than something in the transfer case!

    so far

I got a pair of centres of George here, $50.....they look at different in the carrier, but everything seems to measure up ok. I put it together roughly on the weekend, everything spun as it should, so hopefully all will work ok.

Getting new bearings and pinion seal tomorrow for it, put it together, then throw it back in on Tuesday night I think....then hopefully get it rego'd at some point so I can put some k's on it to find out what else is buggered
