Nice work! Looks like a great platform to continue the build up. Now its time to get out and use it! Us Vics will have to arrange a few more trips once the tracks open up!

OK, Everyone else has said it but I have the ultimate RR Classic.... .. IMHO.
It has a complete Discovery II chassis, driveline and suspension, Thor 4.0 Lt V8, manual trans. Complete Discovery interior and all the electronics, including airbags and seat belt pre-tensioners, HDC, Traction Control, ABS, Cruise etc.
It is also fitted with a BRC Sequent-56 LPG vapour injection system with scuba tanks in the rear floor. This make sit cheaper to run than my old D1 TDI.
I'm running 33's at the moment which makes it great for highway cruising but still quite tractable around town. Also with 2" body lift & 2" suspension it's pretty handy off road.
My only beef is having to run wheel arch flares as the DII's track is slightly wider.
So it's something I've always wanted - A RR Classic that is not only easy to drive but reliable as well.

Just spent this weekend doing the head lining.

That looks like a great car to drive and own, but its really more of a range rover shaped discovery than a range rover classic..
But in sure it really is the best of both worlds.
Sweeeeet!

I remember looking at that when it was for sale a while ago. Someone has put in alot of time and effort into that!
One of these days I might get around to replacing my hoodlining but for now the speakers and interior light seem to do a good job in holding it up lol.
Map pins with a little supaglue also add colourful highlights.

Hi All,
I have a 81 RR 2 Door 3.5 with (factory) 3 speed auto and SU carb's.
Have owned it for 6 years, (its a work in progress) has straight body, a two inch lift, and the rest is original and in excellent condition for age.
Love the ride, burble of a V8 and its off road capabilities (even in its std form) although I have not done a lot 4WD in it.
Love the lack of electronics ...... OK I did fit electronic ignition, has only three fuses, wind up windows and getting to the spark plugs is a breeze.
Even after 6 years ......driving her puts a smile on my face
Cheers
Baggy
