Dunno, and I'm not tooo keen on doing it either, mainly 'cos metalwork is NOT my greatest skill and I'd obsess over getting everything 110% perfect... And I have no intention of devaluing the car any more than what LR's Marketing Dept did... - But that's a personal opinion of mine.

Speaking of this, I recently saw a Classic with what looked like cut-down 'Spitfire' exhausts in the same position. Did'nt look overly silly.... and another pattern seen ages ago was like shark gills, 3 or 4 slits and bulges... a better look IMHO.- Pity they were chromed which tended to make them tooo obvious... Once again my personal taste which favours "Understatement" over "In Your Face."

I'd humbly suggest you spend your Dubloons or Pieces of Eight (whatever currency you lot use over there....) on the cooling system as Philip suggested, then see if you have any left over....

Ebay have the RRS vents for $125 each side which I think is a bit steep, but they would look good, and I think they would work. If I end up doing mine, I'll post some pics - but it won't be until I find some cheaper vents. Hmm, I wonder if my mate would notice them missing from his RRS...? He's on holidays at the moment and the Rangie is just sitting there in his driveway...:p

An update on my search - vetoed by the Chief Financial Officer and done in no uncertain terms I might add. Hmm, I will continue to hunt around and I may be able to sway the consensus to my favour but this may take time and lots of carefully applied sweetners. :angel:
Anyway thanks for all the great advice, I would say though, that this is a valuable thread so I would be happy to keep it going, I am sure to have more questions regards the classic.
