    Electrical Gremlins...

Has anyone had this happen? I went to adjust the drivers seat in my 93 vogue and when I moved the switch it operated the side rear view mirrors. I can control just about every mirror function depending on what part of the seat switch I use.

I have had the dash out previously to do the heater core, could I have plugged something in where it should not be? Funny thing is that the mirror switch itself still operates the mirrors as it should!
So there must be a cross connection somewhere.
If only the mirror switch would operate the seat...

    Any clues anyone??

I had this happen on mine; the seat button would move my mirrors but seat wouldn't move. the battery in the seat ecu locAted under drivers seat had leaked on to the circuit board damaging it. I pulled the board out and sourced a couple of chips from jaycar then got local tv repair guy to repair, cost about 150. Hope this isn't your proble
    Though

I think you're on to something... the two memory positions also learn and duplicate thepositioning of your door mirrors. (Does in my '95)

So if the seat ECU is having internal conniptions...

BOYS! I think we might be onto something here

I had of course forgotten that the seat position memory included the mirror settings and some stray battery acid on the circuit board ..... well, I think that is the course of action. Check the seat ecu for damage.

    Thanks for those pointers.

    Richard.
