I refilled with 80w90 gear oil and took it for another run.still no joy, stuck in low
I removed the centre console and drilled the rivets to access the top linkages
I soaked them in wd40 and now with a bit of a wiggle from R to D and back to N I can select high. The problem is something in high is holding the vehicle back.i can move forward and back but I need to apply a lot of power to do this.it will not roll down a hill in high and neutral, but will roll fine in low and neutral.
I have lifted each wheel with the jack (in low) and can move them but with some resistance and they turn both props and the handbrake drum.
That's about it as far as my knowledge goes.
Am I missing something obvious or is there something else I can do to help determine the problem?
In the meantime I'm off to find a cold beer
