Range rover classic headliner shell missing
Hi,
I have a 1990 range rover classic with sun roof and recently took down my headliner to re line due to the sag.
I pulled it down to realize that there was a shell for the liner in tha back half of car and very front but nothing around sunroof just sponges foam.
I've been chasing this section but am having no luck.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Thanks,
Christian

More info please
My 88 has one huge shell with a cut out for the sun roof. The headlining and shell around the sun roof hole is crimped to the roof framework by the plastic beading that goes round the cut out. You can repair or build up small sections of the shell with fibre glass mat and resin. I cannot envisage how your shell is missing a whole section. Surely the lining in that area would have been floppy and saggy?

yeah it was saggy in that section, i initially pulled the lining off to do a simple reline but realised that it didn't have the middle section, they'd just put a couple of layers of foam there instead..
