HMMM fuel pump and or dizzy amp maybe.
Keep some water with you and if it does it again pour some water on the dizy amp too cool it and see if it starts straight away if so Do Bee utey's amp module upgrade.
You will have to try things in a logical order to eliminate things and of course when you have the oppertunity of when it goes wrong otherwise as the auto elect has said they cant fault anything if its running ok.
With the fuel pump remove the cold start injector fuel hose and connect up a pressure gauge ( you dont need the cold start injector in this weather) leave it on while you drive around waiting for the problem to happen that way you can see if u have pressure when u try and crank it over when it stops.
If no pressure then fuel pump is r/s

Mine's a lot older, but i've had the following make the car cut out:

    1. Bad connection from battery to alternator, causing the ingition module to cut out (as i just mentioned in another post).

    2. A glass fuse making contact on one side of one end. I didn't realise that the two sides were not electrically joined at the back of the fuse holder.

But my RR is a '79, so probably way off track

Also, the next time it happens, give the coil a feel. If it's very hot, there's your problem.
