lt95 rebuild, anyone done it?

it said only for lt230 modles but idk if this would fit as you say most of the internals are the same.

Don't think that kit is any good for an LT95, as the spline on the LT95 front output shaft is coarse one, and the LT230 is fine, so pretty sure you cant fit that output flange to your box (I definitely couldn't when I was researching for mine).

The other thing you need to check is that the length of that shaft is the same as the one you have fitted.

I've got an LT95 in bits and haven't quite gotten around to putting it back together again, but I've done a heap of research. I got all the bearings and seals by ordering separately and it cost a lot, and it was a lot of trouble to go through the parts book and list exactly everything I needed. This rebuild kit looks good if I rebuild another box: Land Rover Parts - GEARBOX - LT95 (4 SPEED)
I've only ordered a few things from these guys, but they seem very good, so far!

Otherwise, you need the workshop manual and the aforementioned threads on this site are very good. Stirling Silver's thread is under the Member's Rides section, for the Stage I he had.
