    panhard rod bushes?

    Hi,
    Anyone know what the differences are between pre and post '86 panhard rod bushes?

    Size the later ones are larger and see to last longer

    Thanks! So I take it that the post'86 panhard rods are different as well?

    Yep the bore is bigger in the post 86 , so bigger OD bush , bigger bolt etc .Use post 86 r0d ,bushes(musy be RED nolathanes) and tighten em bloody tight .This is where I like to fit the adjustable Panhard rod as it saves a ****load of Front uni issues , wandering steering . Measure the distance from the same point on the inside of the tyre to the same point on the chassis, Ive seen 20 mm difference depending on springing . Tell me that deflecting tne uni that much in both planes is what it was designed for !Saves buting one those hopeless Double cardon joints
