I have a 1989 4 door and am desperate to change the seats, I really don't like them.

I need to know about a kit that fits the seat belts to the floor instead of the seat!

Does anybody have a good solution for all this?

Just remember that all seat mods like this need to be fully engineered now to be legal in Victoria as do seat belt mods. It's entirely up to you, but if you have a prang and you are injured, the vehicle gets checked, and if they find non standard seats in it without engineering, then your TAC payment will be reduced or non existent. Check with a Vicroads Engineer BEFORE doing any mods, or they may not pass them. Allow between $800 and $1500 for this...
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Thanks for the heads-up. Perhaps a pair of discovery seats apparently they fit the bolts so engineering is not an issue?

Actually I'm sure they would find a few things that don't comply with my car!

Be kind - he just forgets himself sometimes.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
