There is some misunderstanding here. A BODY lift is just that - lifting the body (usually using solid metal spacers). The suspension remains untouched. So a body lift will not contain springs and shocks.
Where will the vehicle be registered? In QLD the max is 2" body lift, and you have to obtain prior approval from QT and have the vehicle inspected by them.
You can make your own body lift. You just need someone with a lathe and some solid bar to turn up some spacers, and then buy some longer body bolts (Class 8.8).
