I'm not sure how much help this is to you but... my mate just installed a 4" lift using Tough Dog in his 80 series cruiser. He was considering 'Ironman' also.
He had to change the caster bushes and the radius arms. And some other things as i recall, but he likes them. He has not taken them off road yet but happy so far. He drives 70kms to work down a freeway everyday.

One of the things he did mention was he could not fit the swaybars back on without a drop plate for them. But becasue the spring were HD and he had ajustable suspension 1-9, he turned the dial up to 5 and he said it drives great still. He is not sure if he will even refit the sway bars.

I was considering getting this band for my '88 classic so it would be good to know how you go.

I havent got a bad thing to say about Tough Dog.
I had a GQ Patrol with 6" lift with 45mm Big Bore shocks.
All I can say is AWESOME.
On road, very stable, even surprised me on how well the beast cornered.
Freeway, highway, 100kph even up to 140kph, very smooth and steady.
Offroad, they were just as great, if not better.
Let the vehicle flex, even allowed it to stay somewhat level with the really uneven stuff.
Would love to get some of these for my RRC, but at the moment, am looking into Ironman foam cells, mainly due to my suspension being shot, and the Ironmans I can get the full 2" lift kit installed for $1300.
