    Any Tricks to Adjust the Fan Belt?

    3.9 V8, standard V belts. How are we supposed to adjust belt tension when there is no room to spin a spanner?

    I can get to the clamp bolt from under the vehicle, but that is all. Is there any trick I can try before I take off the air-con belts and other junk above?

    Easy peasy.
    Just pull off the fan and shroud and there is plenty of room. It only takes a few minutes once you have the knack.

    Done, thanks for the tips, what a PITA. But it is now fully road legal.

    On my 4BD1T powered RRC it's one bolt right at the top. Sooner this car gets that chassis the better.
