    Range Rover Conversions

    Hello Range Rover People,

I was browsing through some images of Series Land Rovers and I spied what looked like a Range Rover Ambulance so I investigated it a bit further. I found this link about converted Range Rovers. The person who created the link has accessed and copied a lot of manufacturer brochures and included costs of conversions from around the world.

I hope you enjoy the link the Range Rover ambulances look really good.

It is a large file BTW.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

Wow, didn't realise so many had a crack at modifying the RRC's... There's some cringeworthy attempts in that lot...

It does show the Wood & Pickett options in mine, which looked like they cost in excess of £2,000 back in the day....

Thanks for posting this - Gav.

Just proves that a single piece top-hinge rear door is do-able... Or even a side-hinged door like the Disco.

That's a great website. I found it ages ago and I've never managed to look at the whole lot. It's interesting to see what the chassis could take for an ambulance conversion, like adding a metre, for instance.

I also noticed further down is a video on one of the Dakar races, and it was good to watch, especially if you're practising your French.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
