    1974 Range Rover Classic Mirrors

    Hi All....I am restoring a 1974 Range Rover Classic and am trying to find a part for the Car. I am looking for a left hand door mirror which seems to be no longer produced by Land Rover. The part number is MRC5593 which is a black Left hand Door mounted mirror. I have found a right hand door mirror but cannot seem to find a genuine or aftermarket left. Does anyone know a solution to this issue?

    Hi bikeboy005, you might find that they aren't available from Land Rover cause door mounted mirrors weren't standard till 1978, they were bonnet mount before that. They were door mounted here and a couple of other countrys but not the UK.
    You could try a later year model with Land Rover.
    You could also try Four Wheel Drives I think I remember them having early mirrors.

    You might be able to find a good secondhand one from British Off Road in Queensland.

    With some cars you can use the standard drivers side mirror from a LHD version - worth checking!

    I asked MR Auto about this a fair while ago and they reckoned that the ones from Supercheap were pretty close to the originals.
