    will landcruiser springs fit

    Hi there.
    As the title suggests i want to know if springs out of a landcruiser will fit my range rover classic. i have the oppurtunity to pick some up at a very good price and have heard somewhere that they may fit. any knowledge regarding this would be much appreciated.

    One of the journos for Modified 4wds had done this to his D1. He said he used Landcruiser front springs, one end was 2" raised Ladcruiser fronts to make it sit level. It looked like it gave a 2-3" lift. Also, the lower perches need to be flipped so the end of the spring sits in rather than on the perch.

    Actually, Bush65 may also be running a similar setup on his D1.

    I think you can fit a combination of Landcruiser and Patrol shocks too. Not sure which fits on the front and which on the rear though.

    Shocks - yes.. If one has no care for correct rate and handling

    I reckon my standard height Rangie with tractor tyres fitted to standard rims will go just as many places as some of these high dollar lifts, diffs, kits etc with meatball rubber...

    But it wont look as cool though haha

    With tractor tyres it would look every bit as cool!
