    LPG installer in melbourne

    Hay all,
Well Ive called some guys that are off some old posts and none of them are still in the business.
I am after a LPG installer in melbourne. I am (_) this close to driving my car to bee utey and asking him to install. I search the net and the feedback for some of these places are horrible. I understand grain of salt but when theres 5 bad one v 1 good one... well...

SO has anyone had some good results in as fitting. I drove around today and both shops I saw discos.. but not sure if they are repairs OR fitting.

    Cheer NAT

You beat me to my suggestion in your OP - take it to Bee Utey. It would be well worth the trip IMO. I rang DOZENS of installers in Melbourne when I was looking at installing LPG on my RRC, but I gave up in the end and left it on petrol as no one I called sounded confident to do it. The answers I got was a flat out 'No' to 'they are hard to get right' to 'Never done one but we'll have a go'.

I rarely use the RRC now, so I don't need it on gas any more, but if I was serious, he would be the only one I would trust with doing it.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

    Second that!

Why muck around? When you do a cost / benefit analysis Jilden kills it. And he cares about his work.

    cheers, DL

Call John Vender Reyden at AG Autogas in lilydale. They did my p38 2 years ago.
Excellent job and very good value for money. John has a P38 autobiography so is familiar with the challenge of putting one onto LPG. Very happy with the result. ( I know that you are talking about a RRC and I am not familiar with the difference in regards to LPG requirements. But still worth a call to John)

Another recommendation for John here. He gassed my hybrid back in the early 90's.
An auto repairers called Smithy's around the Bayswater area replaced the converter some years later. They seemed good too.

I had a system installed on my Frontera by Smithy's in Bayswater. He had the knowledge to do it when no one else did. Did some good work.

My D1 V8 was done be All Points Gas in Tullamarine. He use to be LPG1. He was a previous LR owner and new about them. He was not afraid to improvise a system to suit what I had.
    Cheers, David.

    Drive it over.
All other methods require you pay someone else to get it over for you and that costs money.
I use Door to Door. They are taking a vehicle over in a day or two. Maybe tomorrow.
