No, they work very well together, and for me, the real benefit is not "having" to fit HD axles etc because of the lessened potential shocks with true lockers and spinning wheels then hitting the ground etc. Will leave it to the experts to explain.

Once you get used to it the stronger front self centering and the "always there but unobtrusive" elements are a plus. Only hassle is if I do get stuck, I can't then press a button and improve traction, but then again landies don't get stuck do they.

    I CAN GO ANYWHERE

But on your d2 what is the point of truetrac [locker] and electronic traction control wouldn't one or the other be better 'sorry shift key failing to work for question marks'
CDL plus truetrac would kinda work against the traction control system would it not [question mark]

    Cheers

If you have a locker and traction control, then you can use the locker when you want to go straight and still get benefit from traction control when you need to turn.

Using a torque biasing diff (torsen) the traction control becomes about 3-5x more effective at moving torque to the other wheel.

To paraphrase Sam Overton (who competed in many offroad competitions): ETC + LSD (ATB/Truetrac) is 99% as good as a locker (ARB/Ashcroft/etc).
