Koni.
Hi all
just after advice on what shocks to get for my 94 rrc, the air bags have been taken out. driving is 90% on road with a few camping trips off road, nothing to full on. thanks in advance
Koni.
Bilsteins, buy from the US from eshocks etc
Ive had bilstien and koni heavy tracks on an eas classic.
Koni are far more progressively damped. They will float over big humps, but grab if you swerve at highway speeds. They are fantastic for high speed dirt too. Though if you're heavily loaded and towing you may want to wind the rear up a bit. They are also unbreakable - trust me on that one!
I think bilstiens are good on boy-racers, but they're just so harsh - and don't handle any better. On long days driving they were that bad it was tiring.
Just my 2c worth.

Hay all thanks for the input
Just keep in mind, it can be hard to ship nitrogen pressurised shocks via air-freight. So from the US, UK etc will work best if you have a sea-freight option.
I'll look it up when I get home tonight. I had the heavy tracks (spelt trax I think).
Air freight isn't a problem. I bought the konis through Atlantic British. Just bought some terra firma shocks and an abs accumulator ball from the uk which was air freighted.
