Were all LWB Classics officially imported into OZ the LSE Vogue versions?
Also, an aquaintance tried to tell me last week that the Vogue is a downmarket version of the SE/LSE - true or false? I must admit I always ass/u/me d? the Vogue was top wazza.

Gavin, I believe they were... (No proof to hand, though)

You may find this site worthy of some perusal...

    http://www.range-rover-classic.com/H...e-rover-1990-s

Vogue and Vogue SE were ascending levels of trim/gadgetry fitted as standard, which puts the long version at the top end, LSE. The 'Autopbiography' was a marketing gimmick, allowing the well-heeled to mix & match colours, trim, extras etc etc to build the car the client wanted. 'Brooklands' was another exclusive run, featuring a particular shade of green. There were other marketing-inspired sub-models, AFAIK...

Your Bessie is the Vogue LSE, whereas Sarah is a NOT L but short-in-the rear Vogue SE.

Alas, her un-ladylike thirst belies the adage that 'Good things come in small(er) packages...'

    G`day ,

yes LSE in OZ and europe , i think it`s county in the US .

    Vogue has cloth etc .

VOgUE SE and vOGuE LSE are the same spec , just a length difference .

Not actually sure if it`s a Vogue SSE or just SSE but is a Vogue SE with other external body bits , so probably top spec but i think mostly a dealer make up , not sure .

The autobiography is a P38a thing to my knowledge .

The Vogue SSE was made up by LR Australia. The body kits were fitted at the vehicle preparation centre prior to delivery to dealerships.
Most ended up on LR's fleet though as they weren't a popular model, then sold as 'used' through the dealerships.

Ducks have nuts?.... Well, I suppose the drakes do.

I though the autobiographies had more wood trim and more sound insulation.

    Yep

The Vogue LSE is the ne plus ultra of Classic Rangies.

Here's mine pictured with a lovely Sikorsky S61 at Mansfield...
