That appears to be how one of my rangies was run by the previous owner. To me it looked like a ridiculous setup just to fit 33".
But when you consider the 2" spring lift doesn't add any clearance and can essentially be ignored because full compression is full compression. So it could likely be done with the body lift and guard chop.
I run 30.5" with no lift and they only things they touch are the radius arms (need to adjust steering stops). There is still enough clearance to wrap snow chains around them.
My Green 2 door has a 40mm body lift. The guards are cut and it has flares. It has Standard rear springs on the front and 250lb/inch (unknown length) on the rear. I am pretty sure required an engineers cert when it was done by AMV in 99, but I may be wrong. I have run 33" tyres on it with obviously a bit of rubbing on the radius arms on full lock. Normally I run 265/75/16 MTs on it.
Thanks guys, it's just clicked that compression is what matters, hahaha... Thanks again
I used to run 33" tyres on my 2 door without a body lift. The rears used to just touch the inner guards on full cross up, with standard bump stops.
In Victoria any body lift, any suspension lift over 2" or increase in tyre diameter by more than 1" requires an engineers certificate, to be legal.
