The guy I have spoken with hasn't said no, he just wants info, that's all I'm trying to provide. I spoke to another engineer about 2 years ago, he said no worries, he does a lot of landy stuff, but I could not be stuffed towing the car two hours to see him so thought I'd go more local. So at the moment I just have the feelers out with the more local engineer, and arming myself with as much info to throw at him as possible:)
Btw, engineers report = registration:(
Well I never looked at it that way, didn't think you could still get away with that, that I would have tried 20 years ago:)
You haven't searched widely at all. There have been dozens posted up here, just on hosting sites like photobucket and imageshack where the images have moved.
The most recent was about 6 months back. Turbo fitted by KLR with dyno results.
If you're actually looking for information rather than trolling, you should start a thread as such in the Isuzu Landy Enthusiasts section. Then we can stop hijacking Vern's thread.
You think 550Nm and 120kw is high for a 4 litre diesel with 20psi boost up it?
You do realise that landrover have 180kw/600Nm from a bog standard 3 litre diesel and 200kw/640Nm from a 3.6?
Damien, I assumed that if you took in a handful of photos of 4bd1's with adr30 compliance plates that would be enough to prove your engine matches.
I could be wrong tho.
That's the plan, I am waiting for a call back from engineer today. Will see how it all goes.
