    Expansion tank alternatives

    G'day knowledgeable ones!

The expansion tank on my RRC 1984 has split and is proving too hard to repair. I have searched the web for one and there is nothing this side of POME land as far as I can see. If I can't get a replacement brass one, is there an alternative that is relatively easy to fit? I see various plastic ones available but don't want to go buying something that is going to be too hard to install. Sugestions please?

Have a look on Ebay under Mini the Mini's Morris & Austin 1800 used the same tank & the latter ones had black plastic ones , I have a second hand one that needs the pipe resoldering .

Question I don't understand why it is so hard to get the correct tank, I have bought two in the last two years and I have one sitting in my watch list on eBay from roverlord spares in Victoria my Classic RRC shares its vessel with the 3.9v8i as in the series one disco,
Don't change if you don't need to it only makes unnessesary work,
    That's my thoughts anyway.

It may be the same tank that is fitted to V8 and Isuzu 110 Countys. They are both brass.
