Also if you think the Ls1 is some kind of modern hi tech rocket it s not by any means . It is still a old school design push rod engine with modern technolgy as in injection and all the electronic gizz mos that help make it run efficently:cool:

hey mate, the reason i quit was because i realised i dont belong on this forum, this is a 4wd forum and im talking to yous about ls1,s drag racing etc, i had to look up what a troll is,,

your probably cheesed off coz land rover never built a motor like the ls1,

Nothing wrong with the Rover V8, thirsty and gutless but you can't kill 'em.


By the way the Rover V8 was originally designed by GM but the seppos like cast iron so they sold it to Rover in the 60's IICR.

after reviewing my posts i think i owe the forum an apology again, ive been a real jerk again with these posts, bragging about how good an ls1 is etc, if i had my time again i probababy should have said something like " i recently bought an ls1 wagon and i must say the gen 3 is a big improvment on previous generation of small block chevs, i feel embarrased at my attitude and i thought the right thing to do was to apologise even though i probably dont deserve any leniency, anyway apologies to the forum, i think il go off enjoy my ride and keep my mouth shut in the future,,
