That's a bugger - really tests the patience.
This sort of issue is why I prefer to do as much as possible myself.
Two reasons............. There is only one person to blame, and I don't have the PC or whatever temperament to just forgive laziness or incompetence or grafting anymore when I'm handing over the hard earned for a crap job.

Hi All,
A minor update - here are some of the parts that I have slowly been accumulating -
C-Pillars re-trimmed:
Reconditioned dash top:
Famous Four door trim kit:
The stickers that I made up - they aren't perfect, but they will do:
I had already bought a kit to replace all of the body mounts - I decided that now was the time to replace them, before it goes re-painted..
Some of the body mounts were in reasonable condition - some of them were absolutely horrible! Eeek
That's about it for now..
Cheers,
GG.

On the weekend I had planned on doing a bit of painting - but it rained most of the weekend, so I held off.
I picked up some parts from the Sand Blaster - I wanted to try them as the place has changed hands. The results are quite good - but not perfect, perhaps I am being too fussy? In the below picture you can still see a few bits of black stuff on the parts - stuff that I will need to remove before I can paint these pieces. The bracket that holds the overflow bottle has lots of little black bits. Of interest is the radiator overflow bottle - it's a weird metal, perhaps copper?
I rebuilt my air cleaner - old vs new paper elements. They are the same size, it's just the camera angle that makes the new one look bigger:
Rebuilt air-cleaner with the new sticker on it:
I am hoping to spend some more time on the project this coming weekend, although I am away Saturday/Sunday.. Maybe Monday.
Cheers,
GG.

Sorry to hear the panel beater stuffed you around.
But can persisting with cutting out the rust. Will be worth it.
